Before moving to the United States, J Patel was a registered pharmacist in India. After relocating, he earned an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Findlay in Ohio.
Following his desire to work one-on-one with patients, he decided to become a physician assistant and completed his studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Besides his practice at MyFitMed, J Patel currently serves in the United States Army as an Army Reserve Physician Assistant at the officer level. When he’s not working, J Patel enjoys spending time with his wife — who is a dentist — and son. He especially enjoys outdoor activities.
